We began in 2022 during a time when clear information and community advocacy were missing in public health guidance and media information.

We believe that public health belongs to everyone, and we are all part of this knowledge, work, and community wisdom.

We have invited numerous community leaders to speak about public health topics of concern in their communities, with a call to action for people to get involved.

Join us October 25-27 for the 3rd annual event. This year the event is donation based with a suggested nonprofit donation to ACI, our event organizers.

This year’s theme is:The Power of Public Advocacy for Health.

This is an important US election year, and we focusing on highlighting key topics impacting public health in the US and internationally.
These include the following topics:

• Climate Justice and Environmental Equity
• Social Safety Nets, Economic Justice, and Basic Human Needs
• Mental Health Equity, Quality of Life and Concepts of National Happiness
• Civic Participation, Engagement, and Advocacy for Health
• Equitable Health Emergency Preparedness
  
  
  Based on the volume and type of abstracts received, we will accept:
  
• 15-20 minute live and pre-recorded presentations
• Workshops
• PDFs with recorded youtube presentations
• Poster presentations with the option of worksheets or spoken components
